Blah, things are changing and everybody just needs to deal. If a woman decides to be a house wife, then that should be her choice, but she shouldnt complain about it either. If she decides to be independent the thats her choice.
I just have one question for this female: how are you free to be a housewife if no man is going to work to support you, hmmm?
The other day I went to the Mirror of the Soul blog, began at the oldest (earliest) archives, and proceeded to read the entire thing. I suggest every man do the same thing. This isn’t to say that I agree with every little thing the author and his guest bloggers have to say. Far from it. However, take good notice of the author’s attitude. See it, and learn from it – or, in my case, remember it.
Two forum posts have been on my mind recently. In one, a man declares that he doesn’t believe a marriage strike actually exists – instead, he thinks it more accurate to say that he can’t get a job. In the other, another man claimed that one cannot be a completely whole man unless one has been in a healthy relationship with a woman. Putting aside whether that point is true or not, he went on to make a logical error – that therefore a man must pursue women. Obviously, this is not necessarily the case. One can be in a healthy relationship with a woman if she is the one doing the pursuing…. provided the woman in question is capable of a healthy relationship herself (there is no guarantee of that, though).
It has become my conviction that pursuing women is counter-productive. I almost hate to say this, but if you’ve ever watched The Dog Whisperer, then you know how a woman’s psychology responds to you. In a very real sense, women want a man to be the pack leader. They want a man who projects calm, assertive energy. The pack leader never chases another member of the pack. He expects the submissive to come to him. And it works.
Please boycott the company that makes items with this picture on them. And no, I won’t provide a link. I don’t want to give them any extra web traffic. Frankly, they don’t deserve it.
