Tyranny

Democracy is a terrible way to run a society. The sad truth is that there is no good way to run a society. But democracy has to be one of the worst. Which is precisely why the Founding Fathers of the U.S. didn’t institute a democracy. No, they created a Republic – one that safeguarded individual rights. Oh, it had certain democratic elements, all right, but it was designed in such a way as to balance those elements with things like momentum and a snail-like ability to change direction.

Why was this? Well, Alexander Hamilton was right. He was right when he said, “The people, sir? The people is a great BEAST!” What is pure, direct democracy, after all? It is the tyranny of the mob. It is 51% of the people looting, raping, and pillaging the other 49%. (Hmmm… women make up 51% of the population. Coincidence?)

What tyranny am I talking about? Why in the Western “democracies,” of course. In Europe and Australia, where speech is not free, because the delicate little ears of Muslims, gays, zionists, pederasts, et al. must be “protected” from that nasty “hate speech.” No, you can’t use truth as a defense. If you don’t tow the retarded liberal politically correct line, you’re a “hater,” and belong in jail. Oh, and the United States is no bed of roses, either, with that International Marriage Broker Regulation Act and VAWA.

Sometimes, I wish I could expat to Japan. *sigh*
